Historically, water shortages were thought to only be a concern for dry regions of the country. But with rising population growth, accelerated climate change, and even boundary wars, the concerns have quickly spread to other areas. In fact, as many as 36 states are expected to have water shortages in the coming decades. Unlike energy, there are no water sources to supplement our supply. This means that reducing waste and using less are our best-and only-options.
